Here are some highlights.
5/31. Left for Montana at 6:00 am. stopped at my brother-in-law, Bills, in Idaho Falls and had a little 4-wheeler ride. Gave a nice little break in the drive. Then back on the road to Billings, Montana. Arrived around 6:30 pm, and meet with some of the family for a little swimming pool fun. The kids were way excited to be out of the car and moving around, and to see cousins. YAHOO. Oh and I forgot to mention the lovely blow out we had along the way. Freaken tires suck.
6/1. Meet at the temple for the wedding (Tim's sister) around 9:30 am. Then off the the luncheon by 11:30. The kids enjoyed eating and hanging with their cousins while all the adults had a little time to chat and hang out too. Ava was killing me though. My sister-in-law Buffy brought her boyfriend along and Ava discovered her first crush. It was so so cute. When we were eating she saw him at the table and said "mom isn't he so cute, hes cute." I about died. the rest of the lunch she sat with him and pushed Buff to the side of the table. Sorry Buff. :)
by 2:30 we were back on the road to be in Gillette by 6:30 for pictures and reception. All went smooth, which I was way thankful for. The Reception was fun and nice.
6/2. Small Skinner Family Reunion. I was exited because we actually were all able to be together and capture and picture. :) Granny Jen also had a ton of fun games for the kids. She had a little Easter egg hunt for the kids since she missed Easter. so fun. Then she had a awesome dinosaur hunt in sand and each kid got to hunt for three "dinosaur bones. Then it was off to a fun filled treasure hunt with a "real treasure chest" that she buried. It was so fun. THANKS GRANNY JEN and PAPA TOM for making this trip so fun. After we had a nice BBQ with the most yummy buffalo burgers (compliments of my sister-in-law Jayme and her hubby). And we are not done yet. Then my cute little brother-in-law Brandon made us a nice fire and cooked us up some smores. Perfect way to end the night. Ava even fell asleep in my arms.
Thanks Everyone for a great time. Its was fun to get together and catch up.
6/3. Back on the road to Utah. Luckily it only took us 8 hours to get home. hehe
