{texas is}

where my brother continues to live despite my families best efforts to talkin him into moving back to Utah. So, why not go back for another visit. :)  the kiddos had a blast swimming, and playing.

little miss trying to kick him into the pool

when that didnt work she pushed him

oh boy is she in trouble.

we headed back down to the alamo.  while there  my mom and I didnt have cash on us because we had just paid the parking toll. well the kiddos wanted a snow cone so my mom and I were scrambling our change together to make 5 dollars, (yes, five bucks for two shaved ices) well while we were counting out our change the sweet young girl in front of us paid for the kids. she spoke spanish, so I had no idea what she was saying. after she left, and we thanked her. the lady running the stand told us she told her that she had just won some money and she just had to buy them the snow cones because they were too cute of kids to pass up. :)  It really was so so sweet, and thoughtful. and really showed my kids how generous people can really be.

tradition to take a photo with the real Texan police. :)

at night ava enjoyed styling mine and my moms hair.

we hit up some of the activities down by the alamo, this was a tomb raider 3d ride.

next we hit up the guinness book of world records museum

now that some big feet....

some of the hands on activities, dv trying to beat the record was the funnest ever.

she needs a bathroom asap.

then we headed over to the kids' first ever haunted house. AVA closed her eyes the entire time.
