{playa del carmen....mexico}

thanks to my fabulous mom and norm for watching the kids, the mr and I headed to playa del carmen, mexcio (30min south of cancun} for my dad's 60th birthday celebration.

our yummy welcome drink. mango juice.... we stayed at an all inclusive resort, which i have decided is the only way to travel now. :)

we headed even further south to see the Tulum Mexico Ruins.

my man relaxing... however, notice the lady to the side of the mr ,bending over .. well that mom literally did a full on makeout session with her 5 year old child right in front of us. and the dad just sat there and watched.  if i wasnt in such shock i would have taken a photo. great times my friends.

my dad driving 140 k, that was the slow speed,  at times he hit 170k and whats sad is usually we were getting passed by. the only time you really slowed down was when you were passing the cops who ALL carry machine guns and sniper riffles

we went snorkeling at Akumal, the mr and I have been snorkeling many times, but never this good. im so mad I didnt buy a water camera. we were within touching distance of turtles and stingrays and other amazing fish i have no idea what they are called but it was so beautiful. at one point a turtle came up for air and brushed next to the mr. it was awesome. the reefs were beautiful. probably the closest ill ever get to scuba diving.{im a chicken}

every night the resort had nightly entertainment.. the last night there they performed all madonna hits. pretty awesome.
